POLICIES & BOOKING GUIDELINES
To keep scheduling fair, organized, and accessible to all clients, please review the following before booking. By booking an appointment, you agree to all salon policies listed below:
HOW BOOKING WORKS
• Bookings are on a monthly basis
• Members receive priority booking and are contacted first for upcoming monthly bookings
• Remaining availability opens online on the 1st of each month at 8:00 PM
• All appointments are first come, first served through our website
• Appointments canceled at any time of the month with no remaining availability must wait until the next month’s schedule opens to rebook
• We highly recommend adding yourself to the waitlist for any upcoming openings that may occur
• Please include your preferred days/times in your waitlist notes (example: Monday–Thursday 4PM–8PM) and extend the waitlist dates to the timeframe you are hoping to book
CARD ON FILE REQUIRED
• A valid card on file is required to secure all appointments
• A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve all appointments and will go toward your appointment total
• Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE
• If an appointment is canceled or rescheduled at any time, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reserve another appointment
• Your card may be charged in the event of a late cancellation, reschedule, service reduction, unconfirmed appointment, or no-show
• Full payment is due at the time of service (cash or card accepted)
• Cash, Apple Cash, or Zelle are preferred to avoid card transaction fees
WAXING APPOINTMENT REMINDER
• Clients are responsible for ensuring they have sufficient hair growth prior to booking waxing appointments
• Hair should generally be at least 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving and 4–6 weeks after a previous wax, depending on the area and individual hair growth cycle
• If you are unsure whether you have enough growth, please text us a clear photo prior to booking
• Insufficient hair growth or menstrual cycle is not an exception to our deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show policies
• We strongly encourage clients to wait until they are confident they have enough hair growth before reserving an appointment to avoid forfeiting deposits or needing to rebook
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING, & NO SHOWS
Recognizing that everyone’s time is valuable and appointment times are limited, we require a minimum 48-hour notice for any cancellation, reschedule, or service change.
• Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is based solely on salon availability. Clients must rebook online and submit a new NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to reserve another appointment
• Changes made to appointments within 48 hours, 24 hours, or same-day will result in the remaining balance being charged to the card on file, totaling 100% of the service amount
• No-shows are charged in full
• Appointments may be canceled through the automated confirmation link sent via text/email, however please be mindful that cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will still result in the remaining balance being charged to the card on file, totaling 100% of the service amount
• Service reductions made within 48 hours of the appointment may still be charged based on the originally reserved appointment time and services booked
Reasons such as insufficient hair growth, schedule conflicts, menstrual cycle, work schedule changes, forgotten commitments, vacations, childcare arrangements, transportation issues, or other personal scheduling conflicts do not exempt clients from deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show policies
• Declined cards must be resolved before future booking access is restored
• If full payment is not received, booking access with Aleman Beauty Studio will be restricted until the balance is paid
• Repeated late cancellations, reschedules, service changes, or no-shows may result in permanent booking restrictions or removal from our salon
Please book mindfully. Missed appointments are time that cannot be recovered. Aleman Beauty Studio reserves the right to charge the full service amount for any appointment not canceled within the required 48-hour notice period.
APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS
Appointment reminder texts and emails are sent automatically 72 hours prior to your appointment.
If your appointment is left unconfirmed, Aleman Beauty Studio reserves the right to cancel the appointment and charge the full amount of the scheduled service.
Please ensure you are confirming only if you fully intend to attend your appointment as scheduled.
ARRIVAL POLICY
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
A 5-minute grace period is allowed. For waxing appointments, timing is extremely important. For example, if your appointment is a 10–15 minute wax service, the appointment will most likely need to be rescheduled if you arrive late.
Appointments are reserved specifically for you
Clients arriving more than 5 minutes late may need to be rescheduled depending on the service booked and schedule availability
Late arrivals will only be serviced based on the remaining appointment time available, if possible
Services may be shortened or adjusted accordingly
Full service fees still apply regardless of shortened appointment time
Clients with 3 consecutive late arrivals exceeding the 5-minute grace period risk losing booking privileges
We understand emergencies happen occasionally, however repeated lateness affects our schedule, other clients, and the overall experience we strive to provide.
If you anticipate being late, please text or call 571-489-3527 as soon as possible.
It is the client’s responsibility to notify us if they are running late
Aleman Beauty Studio will not reach out asking if clients are on their way or still attending their appointment
If we do not receive communication within 5 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, we will assume you are no longer coming and your appointment may be canceled accordingly

• Enter upstairs toward the lobby. You do not need to knock on the main door just walk in and turn right down the hallway
• Aleman Beauty Studio will be listed on the door with a blue sign. If the door is closed, we are most likely with a client or setting up for you!

• Please arrive with a clean face and no makeup for lash or facial appointments
• Avoid retinols, chemicals, makeup, oils, or lotions on areas being waxed to minimize irritation and ensure best results
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Aleman Beauty Studio does not offer refunds or exchanges on services, memberships, packages, or retail products. No exceptions.
